Priyanka Chopra Biography

Priyanka was born in Jamshedpur (India) on July 18, 1982. Chopra received the title of Miss India in her high school, and later went on to win Miss World 2000. Following her international victory, Chopra became a star in Bollywood and turned her focus to film. American television made waves with Quantico, an FBI thriller. It was on air between 2015 and 2018. She was also a big star in Bollywood through her marriage to actor Nick Jonas. Her debut Bollywood film The Hero - Love Story of a Spy was released in 2003. The following year, she starred in Andaaz, and this kicked off a long string of movies, including Plan, Kismat, Asambhav, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi and Aitrazz which was awe-inspiring, all released in 2004. Although most of these films didn't make the cut at the box office the romantic comedy of Chopra Mujhse Karogi was a hit. When she was just 20, Chopra made her debut in the 2002 film Thamizhan and followed that same year with Jeet: Born to Win. Chopra stated that she hated her debut. "I was ready to quit the business after I had done it! I was unsure of what I was speaking about or doing." The actor and singer Nick Jonas went public with their romance in the summer of 2018. Their engagement was announced in July. Jonas is reported to have proposed to Chopra on her 36th birthday. The couple got married at an extravagant, multi-day celebration that started on the 1st of December 2018.
