 Rosario Isabel Dawson was born May 9, 1979. [3] She is an American producer, actress and director. She made her feature-film debut in the 1995 drama Kids. Since then, she has appeared in films like He Got Game (1998) and Josie and the Pussycats (1901), Men in Black II (2006), Death Proof (2008), Seven Pounds (2008) and Percy Jackson and the Olympians (2010). Dawson has also provided voice-over work for Disney/Marvel, Warner Bros./DC Comics as well as ViacomCBS's Nickelodeon unit.For her performance in Rent, Dawson won the Satellite Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture; for her role in Top Five, she was nominated for the Critics' Choice Movie Award for the Best actor in a Comedy. Dawson was born on May 9, 1979 in New York City. Isabel Celeste, her mother is Afro-Cuban. Rosario was 16 at the time Isabel was born. Her mother, Isabel Celeste, never married Patrick C. Harris. When Rosario was just a year old, her mom got married Greg Dawson, a construction worker. Dawson is four years younger than Clay. Clay is Dawson's half-brother. Dawson is also well-known for having several characters in comic book adaptations.These include Gail in Sin City (2005) and Sin City: A Dame to Kill For (2014), Claire Temple in five of the shows from Marvel/Netflix (2015-2018) as well as acting as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman in the DC Animated Movie Universe and Space Jam: A New Legacy and Barbara Gordon/Batgirl from The Lego Batman Movie. The actress was Ahsoka Tano's character in The Mandalorian's upcoming second series, which will air in 2020. Also, she will be the star of the Disney+ original series Ahsoka. She is also a regular role in the Dwayne Johnson autobiographical comedy series Young Rock in 2021.
