Tracy Spiridakos

Tracy Spiridakos is a Canadian actress from Canada. She starred as Becky Richards on the Teletoon children's comedy show Majority Rules! From 2009 to 2010, she played Becky Richards on the Teletoon Children's Comedy series Majority Rules! She starred from 2009 to in the year 2010. She played Annika Johnson on the A&E television drama Bates Motel. Spiridakos has starred in the NBC drama Chicago P.D. since 2017. As Detective Hailey Upton, Spiridakos is the main character. Spiridakos was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, to Greek-born parents, and restaurant owners George and Anastasia Spiridakos She has two brothers. The family relocated to her father's hometown, Skala, Greece south of Sparta within a couple of years after she was born in Canada. They returned to Canada in 1992. Spiridakos is deeply connected to her Greek roots and speaks fluent Greek. Spiridakos started acting in her junior high school. She later attended the Actors Training Centre of Manitoba. In 2000, she was a graduate of Oak Park High School. Spiridakos relocated to Vancouver in 2007 to pursue acting. She was offered her first television role within a matter of weeks, a minor role on Supernatural. She continued her television work by playing walk-on characters in Bionic Woman's The L Word, Hellcats, Psych and other shows. Spiridakos was a part of the TV movie Goblin and in the web-based series Mortal Kombat: Legacy. She was also a regular on Being Human, as Brynn McLean who played the werewolf. In 2009, the actress won her first starring part in Majority Rules! Canada, where she played 15-year old Becky Richards. Her feature film debut came in 2011 with Rise of the Planet of the Apes. In Kill for Me, she appeared alongside Katie Cassidy and Donal Logue. Spiridakos was the character of Sammi in Rags (2012) in the Nickelodeon original film. Spiridakos then was offered the main role in Revolution in the role of Charlotte Matheson (survivor of a dystopian future society) in NBC television. In her pilot season, she was a candidate for this role. Spiridakos shot her pilot in Atlanta. The first season was filmed in Wilmington, North Carolina. Her performance on the first season of the show nominated her for a Saturn Award as Best Actress on TV. She was, however, a loser to Anna Torv from Fringe's. The second season was shot in Austin, Texas.
