Robin Gayle
Robin Gayle Wright was the daughter of
Gayle (Gaston) who was the national director of Mary Kay and Freddie Wright who
was a pharmacist executive. Her birthplace was San Diego, California. When she
was 14 years old, she started her career as a model. She was a model in Paris
and Japan. She made the decision to become an actress when she finished high
school. She was offered a role in Santa Barbara's soap-opera (1984), and she
was nominated for three daytime Emmy Awards. She was in love with Dane Witherspoon
during the first season. They got married in the year 1986. She played the role
of the princess bride (1987) in the role of the title. She was chosen to play
Santa Barbara but left to play the role in Denial (1990) alongside Jason
Patric. She was also in State of Grace (1990) and was introduced to Sean Penn.
They had one daughter Dylan Frances and a son Hopper Jack. Robin came back to
Hollywood after a hiatus with one of her most famous parts: Tara in The
Playboys (1992). She was absolutely stunning and amazing. She was in Toys
(1992) which was which was a comedy starring Robin Williams. It was an
extremely funny performance. Wright was in the blockbuster smash Forrest Gump
(1994), co-starring with Tom Hanks. Wright was nominated for a Golden Globe
Award for her part in the film as Jenny. She was also given a tiny role in The
Crossing Guard (1995) which starred Jack Nicholson. After a string of
rejections, she was offered the lead part in MGM/UA's Moll Flanders (1996). The
film was directed by Pen Densham and featured Morgan Freeman, Stockard
Channing, and Morgan Freeman. Then, she appeared alongside William Hurt in Erin
Dignam’s Loved (1997).
