Genesis Rodriguez
Genesis Rodriguez was conceived in
Miami, Florida. She is the daughter of Jose Luis 'El Puma' Rodriguez, the
famous Venezuelan singer and actor and Carolina Perez, a Cuban model. She is
half-sister to two other women. She was a student at the Carrolton School of
the Sacred Heart. Rodriguez realized as a child that she wanted to become an
actor. She took summer classes at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute
and continued her training in acting. Rodriguez was a prominent character in
Spanish language television series which included Dame Chocolate (2007), Dona
Barbara (2008) and Prisionera (2004). In the hit series "Entourage",
she was also Sarah. Man on a Ledge (2012) was her first film project. What to
Expect when You Expect (2012) is her second. The daughter of Jose Luis 'El
Puma' Rodriguez. Half-sister of Liliana Rodrigo and Lilibeth Moillo. In the The
Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson (January 9, episode in 2013) she revealed
that her name was Genesis named after the British rock group Genesis. She is of
Venezuelan and Cuban ancestral roots. The most enjoyable thing about being near
the ocean. If this acting thing fails I'd put it on my resume for NBA.com. I'm
a huge basketball enthusiast. . . I'll talk about all kinds of trash. I'm
convinced that I'm part of an emerging generation of Latinos who are bicultural
and bilingual. I know I can't consume whatever I want or be the way I want to
look, so you need to strive for it. Pilates as well as my parents' wonderful
genes are to thank. One of the most bonding experiences is to make the fool of
yourself, and posting it online. I enjoy people who dare to be risky. I admire
people who are willing to take chances in the ring. I love Charlize Theron.
She's sophisticated and chic I believe. I love Zoe Saldana.
