Ava DuVernay and Autumn Riley

Ava DuVernay born August 24 72 years old from Long Beach California. DuVernay was able to explore her artistic and creative talents when she was a young girl because of her Aunt Denise. Upon graduation, DuVernay studied in the University of California Los Angeles and graduated with degrees in English as well as African American study. When she was studying, DuVernay began to consider producing for the broadcast media. DuVernay began her career working as an intern at CBS News during the O.J. Simpson trial. DuVernay recalls being tasked to watch the home of one of the members of the jury and examine their junk. The work she was assigned to did not leave her satisfied by journalism and she decided to move towards the industry of public relations. DuVernay was hired right after graduating from college as a junior publicist at an unassuming studio. She founded The DuVernay Agency, her public relations firm in 1999. Neben PR, her agency has also launched lifestyle networks as well as promotions, like the Urban Beauty Collective.
